Founded in 1991 at the seat of the Metropolis of Monemvasia and Sparta, this museum gathers religious treasures from churches and monasteries across the region.
On display are portable icons of different periods and styles, handwritten manuscripts from local monasteries, gold embroidery, church silverware and woodcuts. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00–13:00.
